Despite being small, an urban balcony garden brings a lot of happiness – also in the form of tasty home-grown vegetables. To start with this project, this balcony garden set will suffice. It contains three seed paper sheets that you plant in the provided pots, water them and soon the fruits of your work will sprout. It is that simple and since the seed paper pots are made from invasive alien plants, you not only bring yourself some joy by growing food, but also help the local environment.

The balcony garden set is a handmade product of the PAPLAB project, in which the experts and local community of The City Municipality of Ljubljana collaborate in order to solve the issue of invasive alien plants that negatively affect the native flora in terms of its growing space.

Seed paper is a handmade product of paper and plant seeds and the pot for growing plants is made of handmade paper as well. The set comes with three pots (9 cm x 9 cm) and tree A6 sheets of seed paper with carrot, daisy and tomato seeds.
