It seems that everything moves in a circle in nature, every ending is a new beginning. All of you who have green fingers and enjoy growing fruits and vegetables know what an important role a composter plays in starting anew in the garden. Our composter, too, started anew. It used to be an invasive alien tree that would harm the native flora. However, by being repurposed, it today also helps it grow better.
The composter is a wooden product designed under the wing of the APPLAUSE project, in which the experts in carpentry and local community of The City Municipality of Ljubljana collaborate in joined efforts to solve the issue of invasive alien plants that negatively affect the natural environment. Making the composter from the invasive alien plant wood helps preserving diversity and growth of native plants.
The composter comes with four pillars with 24 slats attached to them (6 to each pillar). The products dimensions are 90 cm x 90 cm x 82 cm.
