Raised beds ease your work (there is no bending over) and are due to its height a great way to deter pests. They enable earlier seed sowing and a more optimal and functional space use. An aesthetically made wooden frame also contributes to a chic looking garden as a whole. The raised bad is a wooden product of the APPLAUSE project, in which the experts in carpentry and local community of The City Municipality of Ljubljana collaborate to highlight the issue of invasive alien plants that negatively impact the native flora in terms of its growing space. It is made from the removed invasive alien plant and is as such an important step toward preserving diversity of native plants
The raised bed has four pillars to which 40 slats are attached (10 per side). The dimensions are 90 cm x 90 cm x 76 cm.
