Apart from the usual use of kitchen utensils, there is more attention paid also to understanding the factors of presentation and aesthetic in food serving. A wooden board is an excellent product for cutting, but it may at the same time be used for serving other foods. The serving board is a handmade wooden product of the APPLAUSE project, in which the carpentry experts and local community of The City Municipality of Ljubljana collaborate in order to speak of the issue of invasive alien plants that negatively influence the native flora. It is made from a removed invasive alien plant and as such presents an important step toward preserving diversity of native plants.
The serving board comes with 2 legs attached to it by means of three wooden pegs (treenails). The dimensions are 40 cm x 17 cm.
