A handmade paper basket with a washable textile insert is an environmentally friendly, neat and assuring companion made of sustainable materials only. It will accompany you on your way to the local market, library, picnic or an outing. It is sturdy and despite being made of paper, it will serve you for a long time, because its textile part is washable in the washing machine. The “hip” paper basket Hud cek’r is made according to a 400-year-old tradition by handmade paper production experts in the paper workshop PAPLAB. Tailors at our reuse centre Center ponovne uporabe sew the textile part.
The paper frame is made from Japanese knotweed, while the handle from natural hemp rope. The textile part is mostly made of recycled cotton and flax that is washed at 30° C. The basket dimensions are 2.5 cm x 28 cm with the breadth of bottom 9.5 cm.
